Kirk, a female Border Collie, watching herself win the 2017 Purina Pro Challenge
A cute video of a female Border Collie watching herself on TV winning a challenge is a great reminder we should all celebrate about our accomplishments now and then.
Kirk the Border Collie regularly competes at agility competitions and in 2017 she won the 2017 Small Dog Agility competition at the 2017 Incredible Dog Challenge Western Regionals hosted by Purina Pro Plan.
Afterwards, Kirk’s handler and human, Channan Fosty, posted this adorable video of Kirk excitedly jumping up and down in front of the tv screen as she watches herself weave through an obstacle course in lightning speed.
I choose to believe she’s not only celebrating her win but also practicing her visualization for the next competition, like any pro athlete.
For those wondering, Channan notes, “Kirk is a girl, even though she was named after the esteemed masculine Captain Kirk of the Starship Enterprise.”
And here’s the video in full of their incredible 1st place winning run from Huntington Beach, CA.
